this was the best title i could come up with, because basically, well it sums it up.
niyas been pretty much sick with one thing, after another, since christmas. just when i think it can't possibly get any worse, it does. i'll spare the details, because im even boring myself thinking of them. i just need a quick minute to vent. she had a fever for 5 days. cried all the time (so not like her). wanted to sleep an awful lot (so not like her). wouldn't let me put her down (so not like her). wouldn't eat anything, including ice cream (so not like her). she was just sick sick sick. i felt sad for her, bad for her, and was super worried. at the same time, i wanted to freakin jump out the second story window, rather than listen to her cry, and whine, and pull at my leg for one second longer. many times through out the day, i would have to just sit down, and hold her, and cry while she cried. it was the first time where i really thought to myself "wow this is really, really hard being a mom" there was nothing i could do.
On the 5th day this happened
and it all continued on for 3 more days

today i FINALLY saw this face
i can't even tell you how happy i am.
life is good again
It is so hard when they are sick. Sorry she got roseola, it's the pits! Maybe we can finally get together!
ReplyDeletepoor baby! ava had it twice (which is weird) and leah once so i definitely can understand how it can be! ugh it's awful.
ReplyDeleteOh, how awful! Sick kids are tough...very tough. Looks like she is back,a though! Phew!
ReplyDeleteThat rash is horrible! I'm so sorry your week was so bad!! You know you can always use me for some "mommy relief" if things get tough, but you handled it really well. I'm so glad she's feeling better, though!
